Gundrilling Gun drilling is the process of drilling long or deep holes, first used in the making of gun barrels more than 100 years ago. Gundrilling is an efficient process to drill holes in materials such as steel, titanium, copper, cast iron, aluminum and plastics. The process is highly efficient for drilling deep or short holes, tight diameter tolerances, surface finish quality and minimum run-out.
